Sample questions

Three questions from the AD0-E613 practice bank, with the answer and why each option is right or wrong.

Question 1

A sensor manufacturer builds an account audience in Adobe Experience Platform. Each opportunity must be linked only to the people identified as involved in it. Under Establish relationships, how should the practitioner connect the opportunity to the person?

  • A. Select Opportunity-person relation.
  • B. Select Account-person relation.
  • C. Select Account.

Answer: A. Selecting the setting that shows the relationship selectors on the Settings tab adds Establish relationships to Audience Builder. Two choices connect the opportunity to the person: Account links everyone at the company, and Opportunity-person relation links only the people identified on the opportunity. [2]

  • A. Right. Opportunity-person relation, based on the opportunity-person object, links only the people identified as involved in an opportunity to that opportunity.
  • B. Wrong. Account-person relation is a choice for connecting the account to the person. It is not one of the two choices for connecting the opportunity to the person.
  • C. Wrong. Account connects the opportunity through the account, so every person at the company is linked to the opportunity.

Question 2

A practitioner clicks 'Create Account Journey' and leaves every field in the dialog empty. Which field must the practitioner fill before the journey can be created?

  • A. Name
  • B. End date
  • C. Description

Answer: A. Creating a journey needs only a unique Name. The schedule, the end date and the audience come later, in 'Journey settings', in the publish review and on the journey map. [3]

  • A. Right. The create dialog takes a unique Name, which must be filled, and an optional Description.
  • B. Wrong. The End date is set in 'Journey settings' or in the publish review. It is required to publish the journey, not to create it.
  • C. Wrong. The Description is optional in the create dialog.

Question 3

An organization sends email for two product brands and has a branding domain defined for each. The default branding domain belongs to the first brand, and one journey email in Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B Edition must go out under the second brand's domain. Which change should the email marketer make?

  • A. Change the From email setting on that email.
  • B. Change the Branding domain setting on that email.
  • C. Change the Reply-to address setting on that email.

Answer: B. New emails use the default branding domain, and marketers can override it for each email. The override is the Branding domain setting in the email settings, which appears when more than one branding domain is defined. [4]

  • A. Wrong. From email sets the sender address in the email header. The domain an email is sent under is picked in the Branding domain setting.
  • B. Right. When more than one branding domain is defined in the system, the Branding domain setting selects the one used to send the email.
  • C. Wrong. Reply-to address is the address used when the recipient replies. It does not select the branding domain.
