Sample questions

Three questions from the AD0-E408 practice bank, with the answer and why each option is right or wrong.

Question 1

An online retailer's leadership judges the web store on revenue. The testing team is planning an Adobe Target activity for its product pages. Which primary metric should the team record in its plan?

  • A. Revenue per visitor
  • B. Banner clicks
  • C. Page views per visit
  • D. Time on site

Answer: A. A business KPI becomes the primary metric of the activity. The Activity Planner gives revenue per visitor (RPV) and conversion rate among its examples, and the closer the metric sits to the bottom line, the better. [2]

  • A. Right. Primary metrics are the business metrics that show whether the activity succeeded, and revenue per visitor ties the result to revenue, the ideal.
  • B. Wrong. Banner clicks do not measure revenue.
  • C. Wrong. Page views can rise while revenue stays flat, so they do not measure what leadership judges the store on.
  • D. Wrong. Time on site measures engagement, not the revenue the business uses as its KPI.

Question 2

A retail team wants Adobe Target to show a new welcome message on the touch screens in its stores. The screens do not run a web page that an editor can load. Which composer should the team use?

  • A. Form-Based Experience Composer
  • B. Enhanced Experience Composer
  • C. Single Page App Visual Experience Composer
  • D. Visual Experience Composer

Answer: A. The Visual Experience Composer edits web and mobile web pages in place. The Form-Based Experience Composer builds experiences with no visual page, for channels such as kiosks. [3]

  • A. Right. The Form-Based Experience Composer builds experiences without a visual page, for places such as kiosks where the Visual Experience Composer is not available or practical.
  • B. Wrong. The Enhanced Experience Composer is part of visual editing, and it still needs a web page.
  • C. Wrong. This composer is a visual editor, and the screens offer nothing to edit visually.
  • D. Wrong. The Visual Experience Composer edits a web page loaded in the editor, and these screens offer no page to load.

Question 3

An analyst wants to save several configured views of one Adobe Target activity report as presets. How many presets can one activity report hold?

  • A. 20
  • B. 10
  • C. 50
  • D. 5

Answer: B. A preset stores a report configuration: metrics, date ranges, audiences and advanced settings. Each activity report holds up to ten presets, and you can make one of them the default view that opens whenever you view that report. [4]

  • A. Wrong. Twenty is above the limit of ten presets for one activity report.
  • B. Right. You can save up to ten presets for an individual activity's report.
  • C. Wrong. Fifty is far above the limit of ten presets for one activity report.
  • D. Wrong. Five is below the limit. One activity report holds up to ten presets.
