Sample questions

Three questions from the AD0-E327 practice bank, with the answer and why each option is right or wrong.

Question 1

A business practitioner is setting up the plan and program folders for a new year of campaigns in Adobe Campaign Classic. These folders will later move between instances in packages. What should the business practitioner do after renaming each new plan and program?

  • A. Change the program's start and end dates in its `Edit` tab
  • B. Change the folder's label as it shows in the campaign calendar
  • C. Change the `Internal name` of each campaign later created in the program
  • D. Change the `Internal name` in the folder's `Properties…`, `General` tab

Answer: D. Build the plan and program folder hierarchy before campaigns and deliveries, and change each new folder's internal name in its properties so package exports do not create duplicates. [2]

  • A. Wrong. Program dates place the program on the calendar. They play no part in avoiding duplicates during package exports.
  • B. Wrong. The label is what operators read. The duplicate risk during package exports comes from the internal name of the folders.
  • C. Wrong. The step belongs to the plan and program folders themselves, done right after they are created and renamed.
  • D. Right. Changing the internal name of each new plan and program folder avoids duplicates when packages are exported to another instance.

Question 2

A business practitioner sets up a weekly loyalty email in an Adobe Campaign Classic campaign workflow. Marketing wants each week's send to exist as its own delivery, with its own delivery and tracking logs, for reporting. Which activity should the business practitioner place after the Scheduler?

  • A. Delivery control
  • B. Alert
  • C. Recurring delivery
  • D. Continuous delivery

Answer: C. When every run of a scheduled send must be reported on its own, use a Recurring delivery in the campaign workflow. A workflow that runs once a week then gives 52 deliveries after a year, each with its own logs. [3]

  • A. Wrong. Delivery control starts, pauses or stops a delivery. It does not create a fresh delivery for each week.
  • B. Wrong. An Alert sends a message to a group of operators. It sends nothing to the loyalty audience.
  • C. Right. A Recurring delivery creates a new delivery instance on each run, so the broad logs and tracking logs stay separate for every week.
  • D. Wrong. A Continuous delivery adds each run's recipients to an existing delivery, and the broad logs and tracking logs of every run reference that one delivery.

Question 3

A marketing team moving from an email service provider to Adobe Campaign Classic asks how the new platform organizes customer data. Which description fits Adobe Campaign Classic?

  • A. A data warehouse that keeps the full customer history for reporting
  • B. A set of separate address lists, one for each campaign, imported before each send
  • C. A relational database built around the recipient table, with linked tables for related data
  • D. A single flat table that holds every attribute and every message sent

Answer: C. Adobe Campaign Classic takes a customer centric approach on a relational database. The recipient table sits at the center and the other tables link to it. [4]

  • A. Wrong. Adobe Campaign Classic is neither a data warehouse nor a reporting tool, so the full customer history does not belong in it.
  • B. Wrong. One list per campaign is the list centric approach of most email service providers. Adobe Campaign Classic works from the customer and the customer's attributes.
  • C. Right. Adobe Campaign Classic relies on a relational database. Its customer centric model builds everything around the recipient table and the tables linked to it.
  • D. Wrong. Data sits in tables linked together. Messages sent are recorded in log tables, apart from the recipient profiles.
